At an altitude of 1450 meters above sea level, the gesthouse is ideally exposed to the south for best sun. Its overlooking situation provides splendid views of the valley and nearby ski resorts, quickly accessible by car : 10 mns to Pelvoux ,20 mns to Puy Saint Vincent. A priority when the house was built was to preserve the the local style, hence the use of larch logs and drystone that add to the touch of authenticity of the place. No need to take your car to reach your starting point if you wish to walk around : simply start from the house and choose among the many possible well-marked trails.

The gesthouse being just outside the « Ecrins National Park », those of you who are planning to complete or embark on the « Tour de l’Oisans » will find it conveniently placed on their way. Don’t hesitate to stop overnight ! If you are the sun-loving type, remember the region can boast an official average of over 300 sunny days over 12 months. Which is why the gîte is open all year round. Getting there in wintertime usually requires a 15 mn walk, but in summer you can park your car only 2 mns away from the gîte.
